Today – 8th March 2011 – marks the 100th anniversary of International Women’s Day. I am very happy to receive the news that I have been selected as one of the 100 Most Inspiring Real Women by Cozycot to commemorate the International Women’s Day 2011!

And here is a short write-up I did for CozyCot on how I inspire other women with my profession:

They say beauty is only skin deep. In my line of work, I have learned that beauty penetrates all the way into the heart and soul of women. Be it a bride on her wedding day, a student on her prom night or a mother in a studio for family photo session, every woman simply wants to look her best (even if she doesn’t admit it sometimes). With that extra fine stroke of eyeliner, a gentle dab of blush and a final touch of lipstick, I find great joy in enhancing and bringing out the elegance and beauty of their faces. At the end of the day, I am deeply touched to see how my job is transformed into smiles and glows of confidence in those faces. That every woman in this world rightly deserves to be beautiful, and can be so, is the greatest inspiration that I wish to share to everyone.
